Honey Hazelnut Iced Latte

  • ¼ cup raw hazelnuts
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 shots espresso or 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place hazelnuts on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes, until toasted.Transfer to a plate and roll in a paper towel to remove skins. Discard skins.

  2. Finely chop hazelnuts and place in a small saucepan. Add water and honey. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

  3. Allow syrup to cool about 10 minutes, then strain mixture.

  4. Fill 2 glasses with ice cubes. Pour espresso or coffee over ice, then top each with about 2tablespoons hazelnut syrup. Add almond and oat blend.

  5. Serve and refrigerate leftovers.
