Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries)
  • 1 Tbsp. honey or sugar, divided
  • 1 cup water, divided
  • 2 tsp. matcha powder
  • Ice cubes

Directions

    Berry Puree:

    1. In a saucepan on medium heat, add frozen mixed berries, 2 teaspoons honey or sugar, and ¼ cup water. Let berries cook for 10 minutes, mashing it down until the mixture thickens and looks “jammy”. Strain it through a fine mesh sieve into a jar. Use immediately or refrigerate for 3-5 days.

    Matcha:

    1. Heat 3/4 cup of water until it reaches 165-175 degrees F. Make sure the water doesn’t reach a full boil or it will burn the matcha. Once water is hot, add to bowl with matcha and 2 teaspoons of sugar. Whisk until matcha and sugar has dissolved. Set aside.

    Almondmilk:

    1. In a water bottle or jar, add the Almond Breeze Extra Creamy Almondmilk half way full and shake for 30 seconds until nice and foamy.

    Assemble the drink:

    1. In a tall glass, add 2 tablespoons of berry puree, a layer of ice, then pour in the matcha right on top. Take a spoon and pour the almond milk onto the back of spoon to let the milk float on top of the matcha. Top with extra foam from the water bottle. Stir and enjoy!
