In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add pumpkin puree, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, cardamom pods, star anise and ginger. Stir until combined.
Pour 2 cups almondmilk into mixture and cook until warmed. Remove from heat, then add tea bags and vanilla. Allow to steep 2-5 minutes.
Strain mixture into 2 mugs and add an espresso shot to each. Place ¼ cup almondmilk in a glass measuring cup and microwave about 30 seconds. Use a milk frother to froth until foamy. Spoon frothed almondmilk over mugs.
Serve.
