Self-Propelled Off-Road Agricultural Equipment Survey
In anticipation of the proposals regulating farm machinery we are asking growers to once again help us collect the information needed to document the types of machinery in use by the industry and the extent of its usage. The information from this agricultural equipment survey will be used during the regulation development process to ensure that the emissions from farm machinery are not overstated and that the regulatory agencies take the potential cost impacts on California farmers into full account. California Air Resources Board staff currently plans on bringing proposed regulations to a Board vote in late 2010.
The Introductory Letter of Explanation should be included with each participants survey.
