About Amanda

Chef, television personality, and author Amanda Freitag has become a culinary maven with her diverse set of skills developed through culinary school, world travel (including working under Chef Alain Passard in Paris), and expansion into international cuisines. Outside of the restaurant business, Amanda has become a household name for her work both on and off the television screen as a judge on Food Network’s “Chopped” and her appearances on “Iron Chef America”, “Beat Bobby Flay,” and more. Her mission is to make cooking more approachable, showing audiences that delicious food can be fun, easy, and quick to make right in your home kitchen. Currently, she is serving as a Blue Diamond Culinary partner to help educate consumers on how easy AF it is to use Almond Flour in their recipes.
