Blue Diamond® operates three Nut and Gift Shops.

Opened in 1967, the Chico Nut and Gift Shop occupies a converted farm house adjacent to the receiving station that serves local growers. During harvest, co-op members deliver their almonds to the receiving station for sampling, weighing, and shipment to Sacramento for processing. It was Blue Diamond's® first station to receive almonds in bulk instead of in bins, and to operate a scale featuring automatic sampling. The Chico Nut and Gift Shop was Blue Diamond's® first outside of Sacramento.

Located adjacent to the Sacramento processing plant and main office, the shop offers a 20-minute video about almond growing and processing, as well as almond tasting and a wide range of almond products, including snacks, almonds for cooking, gift packs, and almond candies, also hazelnuts, pistachios, and macadamias.

The Salida plant, built in 1969, is the largest almond receiving facility in the world. More than 140 million pounds can be stored in the warehouses to await processing or shipment.
